Real Time combustion analysis tools can very effectively speed-up the engine calibration process. For gasoline engines, for example, the engine spark advance mapping can be completely automatized, by evaluating the actual IMEP that each cylinder is delivering while keeping under control the knock intensity.

KnockIT
Designed specifically to evaluate and visualize a comprehensive set of knock-related information. The tool is completely customizable based upon the user requirements and is open to the outside world, making possible the communication with virtually any third party device present in You test cell.
HeatIT
This tool is reaching the end of is development, and will be the natural KnockIT companion. It provides the user with detailed information on how the combustion is taking place in the engine, such as: IMEP, 10%-50%-90% MFB position, Max dQ/dTheta position, Combustion noise.
